Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 (KJV)

Have you ever hurt so much for so long that you finally just cried out to God, “Heal me, oh Lord?” Jeremiah cried out to God in pain, “Heal me and I shall be healed!” This tells us that when we cry out, there is healing available, because Jeremiah said, “I shall be healed.” We can know that when we cry out to the Lord, He hears, helps, and heals.

He also said, “Save me and I shall be saved.” Healing is part of the atonement that Jesus Christ died to give us. Jesus is our Savior and our Healer. it is a package deal. It is all included in the benefits of God. In the same way that there is forgiveness, there is also healing. And the result of it all is praise to God.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:1-5 (KJV)

Just as the Lord is our Healer and Savior, He is our Praise. He is the Source of our praise and the One we give our praise to. Jeremiah praised the Lord for complete salvation and restoration, just like David did in Psalm 103.

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV)

Health and healing are part of the salvation package. We have God’s Word on it.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:16-17 (KJV)

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. I Peter 2:24 (KJV)

This truth will never change. Healing and salvation will always be ours. Jesus is and always will be the same. He always saves and heals, restores, and provides- yesterday, today, and forever. It is and always will be a package deal.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
