Bless Your Future

By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future. Hebrews 11:20 (New International Version, NIV)

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, Hebrews 12:1 (New International Version, NIV)

Just as Isaac blessed his sons, he blessed their futures. He spoke words of blessing- words of power, approval, love, and acceptance. He spoke a prophetic blessing over them, painting a picture of what their futures could be. Bless in the New Testament means to speak well of. So, Isaac spoke a blessing of empowerment. He spoke well of them. He spoke their futures into existence. He was speaking of destinations before they arrived., and they had to take steps of faith to get there.

The same is true for us. God has spoken prophetic promises over us in His Word and by His Spirit. Holy Spirit guides us, and we must take steps of faith. We must run with perseverance the race that God has marked out for us. Every step we take with God is a step being fulfilled until we see the full manifestation of the promise.

By faith we see what God says to us by His Word and Spirit. Then, we get into agreement with God so we can walk with God. The blessing empowers us to become what God has said we would be and walk into the future God planned for us.

As we speak words of blessing, blessing ourselves, our lives, and our futures, every word spoken prepares and propels us into our future. It happens day by day. Our future is already blessed by God. As we walk in the blessing daily, we’re walking into the future that God has already prophetically blessed.
