Outpouring: When God Shows Up- Part 1

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; Isaiah 32:15-18 (KJV)

God is pouring out His Spirit, and what was once a wilderness has become a fruitful land, and the fruitful field is like a forest. As God’s outpouring of His Spirit waters everything, we will see fruitfulness and abundance in our land, reversing all that the enemy has done and restoring all he’s stolen.

Verse 15

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Isaiah 32:15 (KJV)

An abundance of increase takes place and the wilderness is transformed into a fruitful field. Then, that fruitful field is turned into a forest. This points to abundant growth, both spiritually and naturally.

Verse 16

Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. Isaiah 32:16 (KJV)

Judgment is justice and righteousness. It will remain in our land, making things right and allowing us to enjoy God’s outpouring and abundance. Without this, the increase would be swallowed up by wicked people. God intends for this outpouring to be a blessing to His own children instead of the children of the devil, so judgment of the wicked must take place.

Verse 17

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isaiah 32:17 (KJV)

The result of righteousness is peace, or wellbeing, safety, wholeness, prosperity, quietness, and assurance. God’s righteousness creates peace, and the effects are good, including quietness and the assurance of God’s love and care for us. This will not end for the believer but will continue forever.

Verse 18

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; Isaiah 32:18 (KJV)

We will dwell and live in a peaceful place. Our dwellings will be sure, and we will be at rest. God has a place for all of us in His house, a home for us in which there is peace with our neighbors; a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Society quiets down and unity prevails.

The outpouring of God’s Spirit is and will be affecting all areas of our communities and countries. The outpouring of His Spirit will impact all areas of our lives. We are going from war to peace, from lack to plenty, from hatred to love. Whatever God does, He does it for our good and for His glory.
