Make God's Word Your Words

Make God's Word Your Words

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

This verse says God’s Word works when we work the Word. God has already spoken and has done things about our life situations (Ephesians 1:3, I Peter 1:3-5, I Peter 2:24, II Peter 1:3). God has spoken His Word and His Word won’t return to Him void, or empty. So, we must speak God’s Word, making God’s Word our words. Thus, we come into agreement with God. Then we will see what we have spoken, just as God did at creation in Genesis 1. God said, then He saw.

Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 (KJV)

As we speak God’s Word, God Himself watches over His Word to perform it, or make it come to pass.

We must know God’s Word to know God. We must know God’s Word in order to speak it when we need it. Faith is based on knowing God, which happens by His Word, His Spirit, and through experiencing Him fulfill His Word in your life.

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. II Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)

This tells us that we have to cooperate with God. The very thing you need is already finished, paid in full by Jesus. Now we must speak the finished works of Christ by speaking God’s Word and what we desire based on His Word. When we put faith the Word that we are speaking, He can and will make it come to pass (Mark 11:23-24). He can because all things are possible with God. He will because His Word is His will. when you make His will your will, you’ll agree with God by agreeing with His Word. You do this by allowing the only words you speak about your situation be His Words. Speak His written Word only- no mixture. You can’t talk faith and then talk doubt, unbelief, and death. Don’t waiver, or be double-minded, because doubt will cancel things out (James 1:5-8). If you do, just repent and start over. Learn from your mistake so it won’t steal your faith in God and His Word.

Let God’s Word become your words. His Word does not return void, meaning it never fails. Consistently speak God’s Word in faith and see every need met.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
