Light Accelerates Things
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:3 (KJV)
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. I John 1:5 (KJV)
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 (KJV)
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psalm 36:9 (KJV)
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; I Peter 2:9 (KJV)
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Proverbs 6:23 (KJV)
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8 (KJV)
These verses and others speak of light. God is light, and at creation God said, “Let there be light.” When we are born-again, we become children of light. He is in the light, thus the more light we walk in, the more light is given. Light speaks of illumination, development, and acceleration.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. John 1:4-7 (KJV)
Life is in Jesus, and He is our light. He comes in, and darkness goes out so we can see God, His Word, His ways, His Spirit, His power, and His works. When we don’t know what to do, God gives us light so we can see clearly, the eyes of our hearts illuminated so we can see, hear, and know God (Ephesians 1:17-23). More light means more knowledge, enabling us to know God by revelation and experience, all based on God’s Word.
Light speaks of development. God’s Word gives us light (Psalm 119:105, 130). The more we’re in the Word and the Word gets in us, we develop as children of Light, or children of God since God is light. His light develops us into Christlikeness, so we think with the mind of Christ and see things through His eyes. When our eye is single, the whole body is full of light, or full of God.
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. Isaiah 58:8 (KJV)
This talks about your light breaking forth and health springing forth speedily. This is a reference to the speed of light, or supernatural acceleration of light, health, righteousness, and God’s glory.
In God, Who is Light, there is supernatural acceleration for all we need. Time is short, and the time is late. Therefore, to be and do all God intends, He is speeding up time, so what once took long won’t now. For example, in Amos, we see a supernatural acceleration.
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God. Amos 9:13-15 (KJV)
This is an example of supernatural acceleration where what we sow is quickly reaped. It is a picture of continuous sowing and reaping. God speeds up time and accelerates harvest. The light of God brings supernatural acceleration from the spirit realm into the natural realm. As we speak God’s Word, things will accelerate, even at the speed of light, and break forth into manifestation.
