Rededicate 250: The Rebirth of a Nation

May 17, 2026. Today is the day we are coming together as the United States of America to rededicate our nation back to the Lord our God. Today our nation is being born again to God.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. Psalm 33:12 (NKJV)

From the beginning, when the feet of the Pilgrims and other early settlers touched this soil, this land was dedicated to God and to the establishment of the Christian faith. When George Washington was inaugurated as our first president, his first act was to pray and dedicate this nation to the Lord. Today, we reestablish that commitment and again dedicate ourselves as Americans to the Lord God Jesus Christ. We give ourselves and this land to our Creator, the One who made us all.

The United States of America is one of two very special nations in the Lord’s eyes. One nation was chosen by God, and the other nation chose God.

• Israel is special to God because He chose Israel as His very own in order to bless the other nations. Israel was chosen by God so the other nations would come to know God.

• The United States is special to God because the people who founded her chose God. They dedicated and established this land to Him and to spread the knowledge of Him to other nations.

It is true that along the way, the United States, like Israel, has turned to other gods and let her fire and passion for the Lord grow colder and colder. We have strayed from the original intention of our forefathers- to honor God as a nation and to share Jesus Christ around the world. We have allowed satan to get a foothold in this country, and we’ve stepped back from being active in the governing of our own land. The prayers of a remnant have now brought us to this place, where God will intervene to restore our freedoms and set us back on track to corporately follow and honor Him. I believe that today’s corporate and unified rededication of our nation to Jesus Christ is the act that is going to spark revival, usher in the glory of God, and set this nation ablaze with passion for Christ. As we bow our knees and hearts to Him, He is going to release His glory, resulting in miracles, signs, and wonders everywhere.

Today, let’s come together without division or discord to surrender our hearts and our land to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. I invite you to speak these words aloud from your heart to God:

Dear Lord, as believers in Jesus Christ, we surrender ourselves, this land, and all that we are and have, to You. We repent of all the sins we and our fellow Americans have committed. We rely on the shed blood of Jesus to cleanse us and our nation today. We commit to follow you in all we do. We set you as our Supreme Leader and Authority in all aspects of our nation and society. We give you full control of our government, our education system, our media, our arts and entertainment, our economy, our families, and our religious institutions. We set you above all. We promise this day to glorify You in all we say and do as a nation and as individual people. We rededicate the United States of America back to the Lord God Jesus Christ, Maker of Heaven and Earth. Holy Spirit, help us to remain faithful to this promise and to follow Jesus with all our hearts and ability. We love you Lord. In Jesus name, we pray and promise this. Amen.

I believe as we sincerely and genuinely give ourselves as a nation all over again to Christ, we are going to witness the greatest awakening this world has ever seen. I believe this is the act that will open the floodgates for God’s glory to come in and cover the earth with His manifest presence. Welcome Holy Spirit, let Your glory fall!
