More Than Before
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:7 (KJV)
God gave Job a prophetic promise which we can claim today, for this was written also for our learning (Romans 15:4, I Corinthians 10:11). The things that were written about them were examples documented for our admonition.
Job received a prophetic word in his beginning that his latter end would greatly increase. This was realized in Job 42:12.
So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. Job 42:12 (KJV)
God prepared Job for the difficult times to come, and Job was able to endure his nine-month trial. For every pain or problem we experience, He has promises to show us that God and His Word prevail. Don’t give up where you are, you have prophetic promises from God. No matter where you are, we all have to start somewhere. Keep His promises before you. Think on them, speak them out, and act like they are so. Thereby you will see God turn things around.
And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10 (KJV)
The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, giving Job twice as much as he previously had. Job sowed a seed when he prayed for this friends, and this gave God something to work with. We must do the same.
Job began small, but God turned it all around an made things twice as nice for Job. God will do the same for you and me. Although you start small, keep taking steps of faith which lead you toward your latter end. You will see God turn things around and give you double for your trouble. The Lord will bless your latter end more than your beginning. He has increase and more for you.
