The Oasis

Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. Psalm 26:8 (KJV)

Oasis is a small area located in a desert region, but it is fertile and has a water source, such as a spring. It can be used to represent something that serves as a refuge in the midst of challenges.

Enjoy the oasis where you are. At times, God puts us in a place so we can experience Him and His preservation. He leads us to a time and place of refreshing, so to speak. In His house, we can be under spiritual leadership who will love us, teach us, and walk out God’s Word in front of us. It allows us to do ministry in a safe place so we can grow and gain experience. It is a place of preparation to ready us for what God has for us. Enjoy these days.

In this time, God can fill you with His Word and Spirit to keep His ways, to have a spiritual supply- an impartation of God’s touch, presence, Word, and Spirit. Take joy in the experience you have with God. He is making a deposit in you so that when you are in another dry, lonely, and hard place, the deposits of His grace will sustain and satisfy you.

Use what you learned and received from God and others to walk through where you are. God will walk you to the next place He has for you. As you come out of this desert, God will take you to another oasis to drink deeply of Him. He always has a place of refreshing for us in the midst of this dry world. Appreciate and enjoy the oasis.
