From Blessing to Blessing

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)

May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! Ephesians 1:3 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)

This tells us to bless, or praise, God because He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the spiritual realm in Christ. This comes by the Holy Spirit. It seems that the more we bless and praise God, the more blessings are released to us. After all, they’ve already been given to us by Christ and in Christ. In the heavenly realm shows that in addition to blessings now, we have blessings throughout eternity in every dimension.

Bless means to speak well of. We see the Trinity in this verse, with all three Members of the Godhead. We need to speak well of the Trinity, Who They are and what They do. The more we praise the Trinity, the more God can release what has already been given to us.

Places can also be translated things. God has heavenly things for us. What things do you need?. Begin to praise the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and you can see them manifest in your life.

We have spiritual blessings in Christ, including salvation, healing, power, wisdom, protection, purpose, and provision, among others. As we begin to know God and His Word, we’ll begin to experience all He is, all He does, and all He has given us. By releasing our faith and walking in love, we can please God more and more by loving who He is more than what He can do for us. All of God’s blessings should come out of our relationship and fellowship with Him.

As we pour out our love on the Trinity, God will pour out spiritual blessings on us. When we bless God more and more, He blesses us more and more. We can never out-bless the Blesser. Blessed be God forevermore!
