Spiritual Blessings in Heavenly Places

Let’s make a withdrawal from our heavenly account.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)

We bless, or praise, God who has already blessed, or prospered us. He’s deposited all kinds of good things for us in our heavenly account.

Bless means to prosper, bless, to speak well of. When we bless someone, we invoke a blessing upon them to cause them to prosper. When God blesses, it is an action. He speaks and acts for our good. It is His action in our life to bring us to the desired relationship with Him.

Spiritual blessings are divine privileges and resources that are available to us now. They are heavenly blessings, spiritual in nature. The word spiritual is pneumatikos in Greek, speaking of that which is of the spirit. It is the same word used in I Corinthians 12 when speaking of the gifts of the Spirit. That means the gifts of the Spirit are included in our spiritual blessings. Holy Spirit produces spiritual blessings. As we believe God, Holy Spirit releases spiritual blessings: riches, provisions, and prosperity from Heaven to meet our needs.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: II Peter 1:3 (KJV)

We have already been blessed with all that we will ever need. We just have to claim what God has already provided. We simply have to make a withdrawal from our heavenly account. We can receive salvation, the Holy Spirit, righteousness, forgiveness, wisdom, grace, healing, protection, finances, and so on. Just call them down. Don’t go without. After all, Christ already paid the price for us to have them.

All that we need now is reserved for us in Heaven. As we ask, praise, believe God’s promises, and speak His Word, we will see more and more of what’s in Heaven come to us now on Earth. It’s all in Christ. He is in Heaven, and we are in Him, seated in heavenly places. we can access it now. So, call it down and call it in. You’ll receive His blessings for all you need. You’ll be overwhelmingly blessed. You won’t have room to contain it all.

We’re already blessed, so let’s start acting like it. We can live in the reality of spiritual blessings in heavenly places… Heaven on Earth.
