Walk In Your Redemptive Rights

Walk In Your Redemptive Rights

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. I Peter 2:24 (KJV)

Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree, or the cross. He was our Sin-bearer. Jesus bore them all and nailed our sins to the cross. He took our place, took our sins, took our sickness, and took our punishment. He died on the cross so sin would no longer dominate us. He took all our sins so we could be dead to sins and so we could live unto righteousness.

Because of all that Jesus did, we were healed. Our Sin-bearer took our sins and made us righteous, making us eligible to receive from Him all that He purchased for us. He gave us forgiveness, freedom, righteousness, and healing.

Jesus forgave and forgives, making us righteous and in right standing with God. This enables us to receive physical healing. Jesus died for the whole person: spirit, soul, and body. Our spirits were born-again at salvation. Our souls; made of the mind, will, and emotion; are in the process of being saved. Our bodies will be transformed at the rapture, but are not currently saved. However, Jesus purchased healing so our bodies can operate and function in wholeness.

Jesus redeemed us, buying us back from the slave market of sin and setting us free from the dominion of satan. We have been given redemptive rights that were paid for by Jesus. Freedom from sin is one of them. We have also been give the right to have peace, to be healed and whole, and to prosper and have all our needs met. We have redemptive rights that have been paid for by the blood of Jesus. Get into the Word and find all the rights you have in Christ. We can walk in all of our redemptive rights because of what Jesus has done.
