The Bread of His Presence- Part 2
And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway. Exodus 25:30 (KJV)
As we learned yesterday, the word shewbread refers to the Bread of His Presence. As we feed on God’s Word, we fill up with Him. By feeding on Him, we fill up on the Bread of His Presence. Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35, 48, 58).
Let all things be done decently and in order. I Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
The shewbread was to placed on the Table of Shewbread in a very orderly and organized fashion. God’s presence brings order to our lives and we do things decently and in order. God is a God of order.
As we get in the Word of God, we partake of God Himself. God is our all-in-all. He is all we need. When we have God, we have everything. We are filled and are satisfied.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:3-4 (KJV)
As we feed on God by feeding on His Word, we feed on the Bread of His Presence. God becomes our peace, life, health, joy, victory, and provision. He becomes all we need and meets our every need.
By these precious promises, we partake of the divine nature of God. We partake of God and all that He is by feeding on His Word, the Bread of His Presence. The more we look into God’s Word, the more we see Him and behold all that He is. We are partakers of the divine nature of God by the Bread of His Presence.
