Psalm 119: Divine Order
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. Psalm 119:9-16 (KJV)

Each stanza starts with the particular letter of the alphabet it represents.
Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm, and it is the longest chapter of the Bible. As such, God is emphasizing it and showing its importance. It is no wonder that God is doing so it since Psalm 119 is about the importance of God’s Word. This Psalm speaks of divine order and the significance of the Word of God. Eight in the Bible represents new beginnings and 22 often symbolizes light and discernment. As we spend time in Psalm 119, we will see new things in God’s Word- new beginnings of knowledge, discernment, and understanding.
In Genesis 1, God’s Word turned chaos, devastation and destruction to order. His spoken words returned order to a very messed up world. As we spend time in this Psalm, seeing it, speaking it, and thinking on it, we will get what God is saying and showing to us. God’s Word, and this Psalm, can bring order to our lives.
As we do what Psalm 119 instructs, putting a priority on God’s Word, what was chaotic will come back into order. We’ll experience order in our lives, health, finances, relationships, schools, churches, nations, careers, families, courts, governments, economies, and every part of our existence and world.
And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake. And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the Lord. And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord. Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant. And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire by a perpetual statute. Leviticus 24:5-9 (KJV)
They set the bread before the Lord in order. As we place God’s Word in our hearts and lives, our lives will come into order.
Let all things be done decently and in order. I Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
By God’s Word, we can order our lives, and God will order our steps.
