Problem or Opportunity?
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: Jeremiah 32:17 (KJV)
Problems are not fun, but they can be an opportunity for us to see who God really is. If we never had any problems, we wouldn’t know God could solve them.
Problems are no match for God. He knows what to do and when to do it. God is a now God, a present help in the time of trouble. Don’t let trouble trouble you. Rather, let God trouble your trouble. God has all power to change things, turning problems into purpose. In all we go through, nothing is wasted with Him.
Problems don’t last, but God does. He is from everlasting to everlasting. After your problem is long gone, God remains. God’s power, promises, presence and purpose are key to outlasting problems.
Problems can show you who you are and show you where you are in your Christian maturity. Problems come, but they don’t define you. You are God’s child, so the Father will take care of you because He cares for you. God’s help in times of trouble shows us His love and care for us. Don’t let problems consume you and steal your identity in Christ. Problems locate our trust level. How well do you know God? Do you trust Him? See yourself as the victor, not a victim.
Don’t be a problem maker. Be a problem solver. God will give you wisdom on how to solver or outlast a problem. He will make you smarter than the enemy and give you solutions. Be a thinking Christian. Don’t fall apart when trouble comes. Know God’s got you and He’s got this.
Remember, we all face things bigger than ourselves, which helps keep us looking to God for help. even if we cause the problem ourselves, God will help us and can fix anything we messed up. Peter cut off a man’s ear, and Jesus fixed it, so He can certainly fix our problems.
As you face problems, Know that God will cause you to triumph. No matter what comes, you are an overcomer. Through the problem and on the other side, God has great rewards for those who don’t give up. Those rewards are given both now on this earth, and throughout the endless ages of eternity.
