Never Go Back Mighty Warrior
Many people believe that the 2024 election was the end of the war between darkness and light. Quite a few in the church think that the war has been won and thus have begun to sit back and relax, becoming complacent and content to allow others to take care of things. This is the exact attitude that got us into the mess we’ve been in, and it is exactly what the devil wants us to do.
We cannot afford to let the enemy get even one inch back of the ground that he lost. Our foot is on his neck and it has to stay there. We must continue to decree the Word of God against him and use our authority to keep the wicked from ruling again. We can’t ever get comfortable in allowing others to call the shots. That is the job of the church. We are to rule and reign in life. We are not to be ruled and reigned over.
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! Romans 5:17 (New International Version, NIV) emphasis mine
We expect the enemy to try and take one last shot to keep the wicked in power, but we will overcome by the authority of Jesus and His Word. Once that last attempt of the enemy’s team has been made and thwarted, we must commit to remaining on guard and staying vigilant against the infiltration and subtle return of the enemy.
We absolutely cannot go back to church as normal and life as normal. Nothing will ever be the same, and it never should be. We must continue to walk in the power and authority that we’ve been standing in. We must view ourselves as battle-hardened soldiers in the army of God. We are in an army that never backs up and never backs down. It never stops advancing. Therefore, we can never stop advancing and taking ground. If we stand still, we are actually losing ground.
The enemy is very diligent. He does not stop in his quest to steal, kill, and destroy. We cannot quit or let up in any way. We have to keep him on the run. We do this by keeping our spiritual warfare going. Never stop standing on the Word of God. Never stop speaking the Word to beat down the foe. Thank God for the victory. Praise Him for the triumph He has promised.
You might be wondering when we will be able to relax and get comfortable again. The answer is never- not in this life. We are taking back what the enemy has stolen. We will need to continue to do what we’ve done to get it back in order to keep him from stealing it again. Our nations and freedoms are too precious to ever let up or go back to the way we were. Continuous vigilance and an attitude of warfare must become our new normal.
As we take over in the spirit and remain on top in the spirit, we must also do so in the natural. As the wicked are removed from places of influence and power, we must move into those spots. The righteous must be in charge to continue to clean up this world and keep it on the right track. If we ever let up and the enemy gets in again, it will be much worse than it was.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Matthew 12:43-45 (KJV)
We cannot allow a power vacuum to ever arise again. We must fill it with godly people- or the enemy will rush in and fill it again- and the result will be much worse anything we’ve been through. My brothers and sisters, fellow soldiers in the army of light, determine that you will never go back. Commit to moving ahead and always being on the alert to take more ground from the enemy. we have to stop him from ever finding a way back into our lives and nations again!
