From an Open Heaven to Open Hearts
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
The word supply in the Greek means to furnish, satisfy, fulfill, fill, complete, accomplish, to be filled and full. God is going to do this by His riches in glory. God has riches in His glory. The glory releases riches.
The word riches in the original Greek language means wealth as fullness, money, possessions, abundance, richness. It refers to the riches of God and Christ. It speaks of being rich with luxury overflowing. God supplies all we need. It comes from Heaven down to us.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 (KJV) emphasis mine
That which is in Heaven, God releases down here on Earth. Everything God gives us is a gift. God is a giving God. He is the Gift Giver. Everything God gives is good and perfect, and it comes down from Heaven to us.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) emphasis mine
As we give, we can make a withdrawal from our heavenly account (Philippians 4:17). We can partake of all that God has stored up for us in Heaven.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10 (KJV) emphasis mine
God opens Heaven’s windows, pouring out on us blessings upon blessings. As we give and believe and speak God’s word, we can receive what God has for us now. There’s much more hat God wants to release from Heaven to earth now. As we know this and expect it, we are getting in position to receive all God is pouring out for us.
We decree God’s kingdom come, with days of Heaven on earth now. With open hearts, we receive from God’s open Heaven.
