The II Chronicles 7:14 Promise

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

This is a promise from God for healing, restoration, and revival.

We must know we are God’s people. As Christians, we belong to God. We were bought with a price, purchased by Jesus’ shed blood. His body was given as a sacrifice. We’re called by God’s name. we are His children, His people. Our highest calling is to be God’s own, in righteous relationship with Him. we are called to have fellowship with God. We must humble ourselves of our pride, selfishness, and sin, living for God and not for self. We must be sorry for our sins, repenting and turning from them.

Through prayer, we ask for God’s forgiveness and for His intervention. When we get right with God, we can talk to God and listen to Him. He speaks to us. We receive love, correction, and direction from Him. Through humility and prayer, we answer God’s call to seek His face, or His presence, instead of everything else.

We must turn from our wicked ways. When we turn away from sin, self, and everything that draws us away from God, we can turn to Him with all our hearts. Turning away from sin is to repent. Repenting is turning away from sin and turning to God. It refers to turning and going in the opposite direction. This requires a changed heart and made-up mind. We must be committed to following God. As a nation, this also means we turn from complacency and take an active interest in our governments and other aspects of society from which the church has chosen to keep a distance.

Then comes Heavens’ intervention and Heaven’s rescue. God will hear us from Heaven. He will move in our hearts, in our minds, and in our land. He will forgive our sin of not living totally and completely for Him and Him alone. He will send His healing. He will heal our land. He will heal our lives. He will heal our families. He will heal our churches, schools, governments, economies, and everything regarding our nations. He will heal every one of the seven mountains of influence in this world. Then the body of Christ can rule and reign in those areas as God intended.

God will fulfill His promise. He will revive us again.
