Judgment to God's Enemies

In Exodus 13, Pharaoh let Israel go from bondage. However, in Exodus 14, Pharaoh pursued and chased after them to bring them back into captivity. Then God made an end of Pharoah once and for all. No matter what the enemy does, it won’t work because God is spoiling the enemy’s plans.

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:13-14 (KJV)

We need not fear the enemy. We only need to stand on the Word of God and remain steadfast in faith. Then, we will see the destruction and complete removal of the enemy. God fights for us, so we don’t have to. We just hold our peace and refuse to fear, and God will do the rest.

And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians. And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. Exodus 14:24-28 (KJV)

God troubled the host, or the armies, of Egypt. The Lord told Moses to stretch out his hand over the waters of the Red Sea to cause the waters to cover and drown Pharaoh and his armies. So, Moses did, stretching out his rod over the sea. The rod is a picture of our authority using God’s Word. As we speak God’s Word against our enemies, they will be drowned in the sea of judgment. Verse 27 says that the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Overthrew means to shake off. Our enemies will be shaken off of our lives and will not hinder or attack us anymore.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 (KJV)

Speak to your mountain, or your enemies and their wicked systems. Use your authority against them, and you will see them again no more FOREVER. The Lord fights for us to deliver us, taking out the old and bringing in the new.

He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. Psalm 105:37 (KJV)

In one day, Israel went from captives to free men and women. The Lord is doing this for us today. According to Exodus 12:35-36, Israel left Egypt as wealthy people. They also left as healed, healthy, and whole people. The Lord will do the same thing for us right here, right now.

God is currently blessing His own and judging those who come against Him and us.
