You Have The Lord

My beloved is mine, and I am his… Song of Solomon 2:16 (KJV)

The bride was saying that she was her beloved’s and her beloved was hers, meaning, “I have him, and he has me.”

As a born-again Christian, you have the Lord, and the Lord has you. No matter what you face, you are not alone. The Lord is with you to love, provide, and protect. When we have Jesus, we have everything. If you’ve got sickness, Jesus has your healing. If you’ve got poverty, Jesus has your prosperity. If you;ve got needs of any kind, Jesus has your provision. There’s nothing we can’t overcome because Jesus already overcame it for us.

We have Jesus, and Jesus has us. This gives us a place of belonging. Where we belong is with Jesus- no matter where are in life or what we are dealing with. We are loved by Jesus. We are cared for by Jesus. We have a faithful companion in Him. Because we have the Lord and the Lord has us, everything is and will be all right.

No matter what we have or don’t have, the Lord has us safe in His loving, protective care. We have the Lord, and He’s closer than the air we breathe, the thoughts we think, or the beat of our hearts. We can lose everything, but if we have Jesus, we have it all. Whatever we give up for the Lord, He gives back to us, and so much more.

When you have Jesus, you have Someone to love and Someone to love you. And He will always love you- no matter what you do. Jesus will always be there. Jesus will always care. Jesus will always share all He is and all He has with you. He is faithful.

You have the Lord, meaning you have all you’ll ever need. He will give you all you need. There’s no need to worry or fear because you’ve got Jesus. They all disappear when you understand that He is so near.
