Jubilee

A couple days back was February 25, or 2-25. I believe the Lord is telling us we are in a Joel 2:25 time and that anything the enemy has stolen from us will be restored.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2:25 (KJV)

I also believe we’re in the time of Leviticus 25, which tells about Jubilee. Jubilee happened once every 50th year, and slaves were freed, lands restored, and what was lost was returned. And, the book of Hebrews reveals the concept that Jesus is our Jubilee. This is our Jubilee time.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Luke 4:18-21 (KJV)

Jesus declared the Jubilee right then and there. He declared the Jubilee anointing and the Jubilee Spirit to destroy the yoke of poverty and brokeness. He proclaimed deliverance to the captives- no matter the bondage. He released sight for us to see naturally and spiritually, He brought liberty to the bruised. And He preached the acceptable year of the Lord, which is the Jubilee. Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1-3 about the Jubilee. The Jubilee year and anointing is prophetic. it delcares God’s Word and Spirit to restore all who have lost anything. Prosperity, health, relationships, dignity- whatever may have been lost is restored. God’s Word, Spirit and anointing brought wholeness every 50th year. Since Jesus is our Jubilee, we can have wholeness in every area of life- every single day! Everyday is a day of freedom, healing, provision, anointing, and the fullfillment of God’s Word in our daily lives.

The Jubilee brings an end to debt. So, I say, “We are out of debt and every need is met. All possessions are returned, lost family members are returned, and what is owed to us will be paid. This year is God’s great reset; the Jubilee that sets things right and rights every wrong!”

The restoration of years is here- all that has been stolen from us, God is giving to us and making our enemies restore it back to us sevenfold (Proverbs 6:30-31). Seven symbolizes completion, which is what we experience in the Jubilee.

God’s Jubilee means we will have nothing lacking and nothing missing. The word Jubilee means shouting in Hebrew, so shout for joy! This is the year of God’s Jubilee for His people. All glory to God!
