Dec 19 Living Under the Right Law

Holy Spirit, The Kingdom, The Word, Victorious Living

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 (NKJV)

I was pondering this scripture the other day and got to thinking about all the differences between the law of the Spirit of life and the law of sin and death. Here’s what I came up with.

Law of the Spirit of Life Law of sin and death

Salvation Separation from God

Blessing Cursing

Life Death

Righteousness Sin

Faith Fear

Victory Defeat

Love Hate

Acceptance Rejection

Prosperity Poverty

Peace Anxiety

Wholeness Brokenness

Provision Lack

Thanksgiving Complaining

Joy Sorrow

Direction Confusion

Protection Unprotected

Works out for good Nothing works

Happiness Misery

God’s Word satan’s lies

Spiritual mind Carnal mind

Wisdom Foolishness

God’s ways Man’s ways

Spiritual life Natural/ Physical life only

Deliverance Destruction

Freedom Bondage

Saint Sinner

Purpose No purpose

Fulfilled Dissatisfied

God devil

Heaven Hell

I know there are many more comparisons we could make, and i encourage you to make your own list. Suffice it to say, we are blessed indeed to be delivered out of the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, where the Law of the Spirit of life rules.

Jesus said in Luke 5:4, “Launch out into the deep."
