He's Faithful

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I Corinthians 1:9 (New International Version, NIV)

Faithful means reliable, dependable, trustworthy, true and steady. What a desirable trait faithfulness is! God is 100 percent, totally faithful to us. All day, all night, winter, spring, summer, fall- we can count on Him. When every person fails, when every plan fails, when all else fails, God is faithful. He will do what He says. We can count on God. He is a good Father Who takes care of His children.

When we hurt, God is faithful to be our Healer and to bring healing to our lives. When we have been betrayed or abondoned, God will be there, walking with us and comforting us. When financial circumstances look grim, God has a way to meet our needs. When we don’t know what to do, we can rely on God to come through for us. When life is unfair, we can trust God to make things right.

God will never fail us, for He is faithful. Even when we’re not faithful, He still is. Because faithfulness is part of Who He is, He cannot be anything other than faithful. To be unfaithful would be for Him to deny His very identity, which He will never do.

Begin to declare God’s faithfulness in your life, and see Him work things out for you. God keeps His promises, for He is faithful!

Here’s a brief, simple faith confession for you to speak about the Lord’s faithfulness: “My God is faithful. He keeps His Word and fulfills His promises to me. Therefore, every need is met in my life, In Jesus’ name.”
