The Enemy Doesn't Stand a Chance!

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 43:1-5 (KJV)

This psalm is a plea for judgment and justice. God sends out His light and truth, His Word, to lead us. When we are looking for God’s vindication and seeking Him for wrong things to be made right, we need to get in the Scriptures to get a Word from God. Light will come forth from Him, and we will know what to do. The truth of God’s Word will expose the lies of the enemy, whether natural or spiritual enemies. Light will reveal; truth will heal.

According to verse 3, light and truth will lead us into God’s presence, where we can plead our cases before the court of heaven. God will hear our cases, and we will receive just verdicts from God the righteous judge, which will produce right outcomes for us. We will get justice and will be vindicated by the Lord.

Verse 5 tells us to hope in God, the Health of our countenances and the Glory and Lifter up of our heads. He is the Lifter of our souls and our Peace. God will avenge His own speedily though they cry night and day (Luke 18:8). Keep calling on the Lord, and you will win your case against the enemy, with God as your righteous Judge and Jesus as your Attorney. The enemy doesn’t stand a chance!
