Love With No Regrets
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13;34 (KJV)
Jesus said to love one another. We need to love the people that God puts in our lives while they are in our lives.
Don’t miss opportunities, the moments God gives us, to love others. Don’t fight with yourself about who they are or what they’ve done. Of course, we don’t condone sinful lifestyles, but we are to love people. Love them from the heart. Don’t fight with them in your mind and emotions by having negative thoughts and feelings of them. We are to love them and pray for anything that God shows us needs to change. The Holy Spirit is the Change Agent. We are not.
When we love people, we’ll think and feel better towards them. This helps us to continue to love them, showing them the love of Christ. The love and kindness of Christ is what draws people to God and towards real life changes (Romans 2:4)
People come and go, so do what you can to leave them better when they go than when they came into your life. Jesus loves us, so we have the ability to love people. His love is in us.
Live and love people so that when they are gone you will have no regrets. Instead, you’ll have happy and loving memories of them.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12 (KJV)
