Too Good To Be True?
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. Matthew 4:23-25 (KJV)
What if I told you there is Someone Who will love you forever, Who took the punishment for your crimes and died to give you life? Someone Who could heal you of any and every kind of sickness, disease, and all that ails you? He can forgive you for all your sins, wrongs, and failures, and will never leave or abandon you. He will never hurt you or reject you. He’ll do you only good and will always treat you right.
What if I told you that you would never lack for anything in this life or in the life to come? What if I told you that His words bring salvation, deliverance, healing, understanding, wisdom, freedom, and provision? You can have a friend for life. His wisdom is not of this world, and He’s willing to share everything He has with you- all wisdom and riches- anything you need. He will give it to you. He has an answer for everything.
His name is Jsus. His name is the good news, the Gospel, It is the too-good-to-be-true news. Yet, He and His Gospel are true. They are actually the Truth.
What if I told you He could give you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to make you smarter than you could be on your own in order to help you make right decisions? His power can change how you think, feel, speak, and act regarding yourself and others. You could love again, trust again, and live again. He could make you happy now and forever, give you the desires of your heart, and meet all your needs.
Jesus. He’s more than you can dream, think, or imagine. It takes a lifetime, even an eternity, to experience all that Jesus is and all He has for you. All you have to do is answer when He calls. Come to Jesus and follow Him, and He will show you who He is and what He will do for you. It sounds too good to be true, but it is. He’s all for you and all He has is for you.
The Gospel is good news because it is true. Just say yes to Jesus daily and He will show you how good He is and how good the Good News of the Gospel really is. When everyone else has let you down, know that Jesus will not. He will be there for you, lifting you up higher and higher into all He has for you. That’s good news, and it’s 100 percent true.
