No Cares Because God Cares- Part 2

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. I Peter 5:7 (KJV)

When you cast your cares on God, they are no longer yours, but His. You no longer own those cares and worries. You just gave the responsibility for them to God. Now you can rest in God’s promise of care. The weight of trying to take care of yourself is gone- given away to the only One who can take care of everything and everyone. Really meditate and think on that. It is so liberating when you get the revelation of it.

Once you cast your cares on God, you cease from self-care, and you rest and relax in God’s care. God can and will take care of you better than you can.

Once you cast your cares, you are free to reach out to others because you aren’t consumed with your own needs and concerns. Knowing that God will take care of you because He loves you gives you freedom. He will handle everything that you give Him, and you are free from that which was a concern to you. Now you can be fully-focused on helping other people.

You can rest in peace and comfort because your own wellbeing, safety, and life are in the hands of someone much more capable than you are. It is far out of your hands, in the hands of the One who made the universe and formed you in your mother’s womb. Nothing is too hard for Him, and He has it all under control.

His hands can handle anything and everything we give Him. However, He can’t take care of what we refuse to give Him, or those things that we give Him and then take back. Give your cares to Him and then do not try to retrieve them. Let Him handle them in His way. After all, His way is best. Cast your cares once and for all on God for you know He cares for you.
