Worship Will Take You Higher

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)

This verse says that God has raised us up together in heavenly places with Jesus. This speaks of our position in Christ, positionally and spiritually. It is a spiritual reality that we sit in heavenly places.

Naturally, we live on the earth, but don’t let what goes on down here dictate who you are in Christ or where you are in the spirit in heaven. Your position in Christ is to affect how you live down here.

What do you do when earth and all you encounter tries to hold you here, trying to dictate who you are, what you have, or where you go? The answer is that you worship Jesus Christ, the risen Lord, who is above it all and reigns over it all.

As we begin to worship Christ, the Spirit of God begins to lift us above all that goes on down here. We feel God’s presence and Spirit. We experience and know that we are born again. As we worship Him, we are lifted higher. We begin to experience in the natural realm who and where we are in the spiritual realm. We experience being seated with Christ in heavenly places as we rule here on Earth.

As we worship Christ, Heaven comes down and makes Earth more like Heaven because His glory fills our lives. Glory all around us changes things so we rule from our position in heaven. And we walk it out naturally in the earth. As we worship Christ, we’re lifted to heavenly places, above all that goes on in the earth, so we walk in Heaven’s victory. It becomes days of Heaven on Earth for believers- until the rapture.

The more we worship Jesus, the higher we go in Him, where Earth has no hold on us. Then, Jesus will come to rapture us to be with Him in Heaven.
