Don't Let It Crush You
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
When you can’t make something happen, it becomes such a battle. It worries you, wears you down, and wears you out. When you can’t go forward and you can’t go back, look to the Lord and give it to God. God knows how to get you to where He wants you to be. Let Him guide you and place you where He desires. When you can’t make something happen that you know is right for you, you have to give it over to Him Turn it over to God and let Him bring it to pass for you. When you can’t, God can!
Whatever you are fighting, give it to God. Let Him do your fighting for you. He knows what to do and when to do it, especially when we don’t. When we turn it over to the Lord, letting Him do it the way He wants to do it, He’ll do it better that we ever could. Give it to Him and stand still. You’ll see God’s goodness go to work for you. Rest in the Lord and let Him work out what’s best for you.
Commit in the Hebrew means to roll your burden, care, or weight over on the Lord. God can handle it so you don’t have to. Don’t let a burden weigh you down or crush you. Instead, hand it over to God and let His hands handle it all. God will take your mess and turn it into what’s best for you. He can take your brokennes and turn it into something beautiful.
That which used to bother you will bother you no more. God will give you peace, with nothing nissing and nothing broken. You’ll have wholeness, health, happiness, and blessing. Give what’s in your hand to the Lord and watch God transform it and hand it back to you. His hands are full of goodness and the resources of heaven, so give your challenges and obstacles to Him and He’ll transform them into something amazing.
