God's Not Mad

God's Not Mad

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:9-10 (KJV)

God is not judging the United States. He is honoring His covenant with those who settled our land and with those of us who have been petitioning Him on behalf of this nation. God is also is not judging you and me because we are under the blood of Jesus. Jesus already took the wrath of God for us.

The Lord is not an angry God. The opposite is true. He is a loving Father who simply wants to release His love on His children. Any anger the Lord has is towards the devil and his demons and anyone who willing and knowingly chooses to follow wickedness. God is not about to release anger on the world- because we are here. We are His children and He loves us and has a good plan for us- not a plan of evil or destruction.

God spared multitudes because of one man who chose to stand in the gap. Moses was one such man. He stood before the Lord and said that if the Lord would strike down the nation of Israel, then He would have to strike him down as well. For the sake of just one man, God spared a nation. For the sake of one man, Jesus, God has made a way to spare mankind. And there are many people standing on the Lord’s side in America today.

Stay positive and know that God is for you. He is not out to get you or to exact vengeance on this nation for sins committed by wicked men. His plans for man are plans of redemption. There is a godly remnant standing in the gap, and God is turning things around in the United States and the world.
