Pay Day Is On The Way!

Pay Day Is On The Way!

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. Hebrews 6:15 (New International Version, NIV)

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. Hebrews 10:35 (New International Version, NIV)

Abraham waited at least 25 years for Isaac, the son he was promised. Abraham serves as an example for us. if God did it for Abraham, He’ll do it for us. God tells us not to throw away our confidence. Why? Because it has great reward, or it comes with a pay day attached to it. No matter what it looks like or how long you’ve waited, don’t give up now- you’ve come too far to lose your reward.

I know that God is about to do something great in the lives of the faithful. Hebrews 11:6 says God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Did you know that God keeps records in the books in heaven? Every time we pray, give, love, help someone, fast, forgive, worship, etc., it is recorded. As we wait, we are to hold onto our confidence, or hold onto our assurance, persuasion, boldness, and expectation. As a result, we will be able to endure much and undertake whatever God instructs. Being confident means we are positive that we will receive the fulfillment of God’s promises in our lives. We are to hold onto our confidence knowing that our reward is on the way.

Maybe someone did not pay you a fair wage, or maybe someone stole from you. Perhaps someone took advantage of your good nature, or you were overlooked for promotion. No matter what your situation might be, God is just and He will settle the account on your behalf. If you hold onto your confident faith, God will see that you are paid back. And I am not just talking about money- God will see that you are paid back in every area of your life.

Pay day is coming. God is faithful. All of God’s promises are backed up by the blood of Jesus and carried out by the Holy Spirit. As you get in agreement with God, you will see His promises manifest for you. Pay day is on the way, my friend. Receive your reward!
