Wait For His Touch

The other day, our cat was sitting at my feet looking up at me, just waiting for me to pet her. As I reached down, I heard the Lord speak to my heart and say, “Wait for My touch.”

My friend, one touch from Jesus can heal your sick body. One touch from Him can multiply your finances, just as it did the two fish and five loaves. One touch from Jesus healed a leper, caused the blind to see, and made the lame to walk.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:2-3 (KJV)

Whatever you may be struggling with, get in the presence of Jesus and let Him touch so you can be free. Leprosy can symbolize sin in the Bible, but Jesus’ touch can cleanse us from any sin or uncleanness. One touch from heaven will change our condition here on earth. One touch from God changes everything.

So, get in God’s presence by beginning to worship Jesus. As we touch the heart of God, He will touch us and our lives. And His touch will bring wholeness to us, spirit, soul, and body. It will bring wholeness to our realtionships, finances, dreams, hearts, our very lives. As He touches us, His Spirit and power will come upon us, and we will be changed to be more like Jesus.

As God touches us, we are to go touch the world with the love of God. Wait in God’s presence for His touch- it changes everything.
