The Seer Who Shows
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. John 16:12-16 (KJV)
Jesus had many things to tell His disciples but couldn’t bear, or grasp, them. He said that the Spirit of Truth was coming and would guide them into all truth. However, we must let Him guide us or we’ll miss things.
Since Holy Spirit knows the beginning to the ending, He knows our future and the best course of action for us to take. Follow Him and He will get you where God wants you.
What He hears, He will speak to us. He will show things to come. He will reveal the future. Thus we see the prophetic ministry of the Holy Spirit. He is called the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10). He is the Seer who knows and sees all things so He can teach us all things and lead us into all truth.
Holy Spirit shows us, giving us eyes to see God and what God has for us. He glorifies Jesus by showing us what Jesus gives to Holy Spirit to give to us.
We’re heirs of God and joint heirs, or equal heirs, with Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit shows us everything that belongs to us as part of our inheritance. He helps us to mature and leads us into our inheritance (Romans 8:14)
As the Spirit of Prophecy, Holy Spirit is prophetic in nature. Because He is God, He knows all things. Pray that your eyes will be opened to see, to know, and to walk in the fruit, gifts, and power of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, our Seer, can anoint us to be seers, enabling us to see revelation in Scripture. He can make us prophetic, allowing us to see into the future to know all God has already prepared for us. He opens our eyes to see the Trinity and to discern and see into the spirit realm so we can know which spirit is operating, whether it is God, man, angels, or evil spirits. This keeps us from being deceived and ripped off. He enables us to see people’s hurts so we can love like God. The more Holy Spirit opens our eyes, the more we can see to possess all He has for us.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. I Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV)
