I Trust You Lord
We all have unanswered questions. It isn’t that we always need answers, but we always need God. God is the answer to it all.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Lord, I trust You when I don’t understand, when the wait is long, when things go wrong, and when I hurt. I trust You when I have unfulfilled dreams. I trust You when I’ve tried and failed over and over again. I trust You when I suffer loss, when circumstances are trying, and when people fail me. When it is beyond man, I trust You. Lord, I trust You when the battle keeps raging and when the dark night of the soul is ongoing. When pressures seem to be too much and enemies come against me, I trust. I trust You when prayers are not answered yet, when it seems like You are silent, when there seems to be no way out. I trust You during Your dealings with me, when I’m waiting for healing to manifest, or when I feel like I’m doing the work alone. The answer to all of this is to say, “Lord I trust You, based on Who You are, what You’ve done at Calvary, and on all Your promises.”
To keep our peace, faith, and hope, we must trust God. We must have faith that God knows what is going on and that He is with us and for us. He loves us. God will take care of things- in His time and His way for His own purposes.
Just keep living for God. Keep doing the right thing. Keep sowing good seed. Keep praising the Lord. Faith is the victory. God will turn our losses into gain, our hurts into healing, our problems into provision, our trials into triumphs, and our reasonings into rest. The more we trust Him, the happier and more peaceful we will be.
It’s not that everything in life will be good, right, or fair, but God is good and does only good. He does what is right. He is always fair and just. If we can trust God with our eternity, then why not trust Him with our lives here and now? God is here, and He cares. He will do what is best for us. We just have to trust God because He can be trusted.
