Do Not Fret
Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. Psalm 37:1-15 (NKJV)
There was a well-known prophet named Kim Clement, who prophesied that the wicked would fall in the fall. Today, as we enter the Fall, or Autumn as some call it, we stand on the Word of God that promises to bring the wicked to nothing. He tells us that evildoers will be cut off, meaning their lives will be ended. Our God is longsuffering, but He is also just. He does not put up with evil forever. There is time when He says “enough is enough.”
I would not want to be on the wrong side of God. The unjust and those who prey on others will find that their swords have entered their own hearts. What they have sown, they shall surely reap. The evil they have perpetrated and still try to perpetrate on others will be done to them instead.
Before the wicked are removed, they will try one last, big attack to prevent their removal. And God is coming on the scene to display His power for all to see. We are about to experience something of biblical proportions that no one on earth will be able to ignore or deny.
Be prayed up, saints. The judgment that is shortly coming upon the earth is not for God’s children. We do not have to fear, but we need to stay close to God and trust in His protection. This is a time that will be remembered throughout history, much like the rescue of the Israelites from Egypt, only bigger.
Do not fret because of evildoers. Our future is bright, so stay close to God and do not be afraid.
