How God Puts Us With Key People
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. Proverbs 18:16 (KJV)
God uses our giving to put us where we should be. It isn’t referring to bribing people to get a prominent position, but how God blesses givers by positioning them. It shows God and others that your heart is right when you give. We can be trusted to the degree of our giving because reliable people give.
Our giving gives God something to work with. In the spirit realm, it gives Him the ability to work in our hearts. It in natural realm, it allows Him to connect us to key people. Giving leads to greatness. Give your way to the place you want to be.
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)
The word mean in this verse means obscure. People who are givers and are diligent will not stand before obscure, low-ranking, men of no reputation. When we give, we do not stand before ordinary men and women. God gives us access to those with influence and authority.
If you don’t like where you are or who you are around, heed these verses and watch God move you out of your current place and up to something better. God wants to put us with great men and women, away from low-level people, or those not good for us. Give your way to a better place. Work diligently and you’ll be around better people. We can rule with kings, but not with people who want to do nothing and be nothing.
Love everybody, but move on to be who God made you to be. Do what God designed for you to do. He’s got more for you. Take the steps to get to the place He has for you. Let your giving and your diligence position you for better things.
