Babylon's World Systems Will Fall

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Revelation 18:1-8 (KJV)

Revelation 18 declares the fall of Babylon: its economic power over mankind. It speaks of the fall of the world system. The evil Babylonian system is portrayed in Revelation as a woman. As she (speaking of Babylon) lives in luxury, she is paid back double with the trouble of judgment for her sins, crimes, and for causing people to sin. God tells people to come out of her, out of the world system, or be judged with her.

We must trust the Lord to meet our needs and not rely on the world system. The systems of this world will fail and fall, but God remains. In just one day, her plagues will overtake her. God only needs one day to turn things around for His people. It says that in one hour her doom comes. God’s judgment is quick and swift. She (evil world leaders) hurts others for wealth and power, even selling people as slaves. This goes on today, so God is on a rescue mission to save the innocent and judge the guilty.

God will deal with the occult and people who practice witchcraft. God is bringing the world’s system down today. He is ushering in new systems. He’s judging government, healthcare, Hollywood and all aspects of entertainment, banking systems, the corporate world, the education system, the media, and even parts of the church. He is removing the corrupt and wicked empires of man in our day and introducing new systems. He is removing compromise church leaders and hypocrites.

It is not time yet for the tribulation and for the system of the Beast. What we are living in and living through is a foreshadowing of that time, but God is delivering us to enable us to bring in the final end time harvest of souls. God is shaking things up and what will remain will be the godly. He is removing people who will not repent- those who are bent on destroying the people of the earth. At the same time, He is protecting those who call on the name of Jesus.

We are living at the time to see God’s hand remove these worldly, wicked people and their systems and see Him bring in a new way of life for us to enjoy for a while before the rapture removes the church. We’ll reap the final harvest. Then, we’ll be caught away and the Babylonian system will reappear for a brief time. Then the final fall of Babylon, the world’s system and evil leaders, will take place at the end of the tribulation period. Jesus will return (Revelation 22) for His second coming, bringing us with Him. He’ll judge the world and set up His 1,000 year reign on Earth. At the end of the millennial reign of Christ, Jesus will defeat the enemy once and for all in the final battle. Then we live forever with Christ for all eternity.

What a glorious and exciting time to be alive, God is cleaning things up and we get to experience the greatest revival the world has ever known!
