The 11:11 Story
Today is 11-11-24 and, as I have mentioned before, often the Lord will lead us to read certain scriptures based on calendar dates, license plate numbers, and other natural occurrences of numbers and apply them to current events and situations. I noticed that several 11:11 verses tell a story of the time in which we currently find ourselves.
We have been in bondage to wicked people for many, many years, and we didn’t even know it. But, a remnant of believers has been crying out to God for deliverance and a rebirthing of our nation.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isaiah 11:11 (KJV) emphasis mine
God has heard our cry and is delivering us from the bonds of tyranny. This is not the first time this has happened in the United States; it is the second revolution and rescue that we have experienced. This makes Isaiah 11:11 especially significant.
These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. John 11:11 (KJV)
When I read this verse, it excited me so much that I about jumped out of my skin! In our current situation, Lazarus represents the United States. The time of the third great awakening is here! God is moving in the earth and the third great awakening of the nation is upon us. He is waking up those who have been asleep.
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11 (KJV)
Sarah had faith to birth Isaac, and our nation is about to be reborn based on our faith in God.. God has promised and He is faithful. What an amazing parallel.
Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. Jeremiah 11:11 (KJV)
The wicked are being dealt with according to the justice of the Lord. They sowed evil, and now they shall reap the harvest. Those who scoffed at God and thought they were untouchable will experience the reality of God’s righteous judgment. Not one of them will be overlooked or missed by God.
What a picture our 11:11 verses reveal of our times and of the near future. Great things are coming, and we can expect to see amazing times ahead.
