Always the Victor

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. II Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

Did you know that you can win any fight on any day against the devil? And I mean ANY fight. Note the word always in that verse. What do you think that means in the original Greek? It means always or at all times. So, it really means what it sounds like it means. We are always victorious in Christ- every minute of every day. That means there is never even one second that a child of God is defeated.

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. II Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV) emphasis mine

We can be victorious because we don’t have to win the battle- God has already won it for us. Jesus conquered the devil when He died, descended to hell, and rose again. He took from the devil the keys to death, hell, and the grave. There is nothing to fear- the devil has nothing on us as long as we remain in Christ. It’s already been won, and we are always victorious. Just meditate on that statement a moment before you read on.

No matter what thoughts the enemy tries to plant in your mind, you are always the victor and never the victim. You win every time. No matter what symptoms come, you always win over sickness, disease and injury. The devil likes to present symptoms to see if we’ll receive sickness to our bodies. If you ache and feel nauseous, you can rebuke the devil and claim healing and health- or you can claim the sickness the devil is trying to put on you by saying something like, “I think I’m coming down with the flu.” If you stay in the victory of Christ by believing He has already purchased your healing, you can win the battle for your health every time. And it doesn’t matter the type of sickness that he tries to bring and how scary it sounds, you win. Remember that- you win.

No matter what your bank account says, you can always win the fight for provision and prosperity. No matter what is going on around you, you always win the fight for inner peace and for protection from harm. You don’t have to be oppressed in any way. It may sound almost too good to be true, but according to the Word of God, it is true- one hundred percent true. Basically, experiencing the victory that is ours is just a matter of outlasting the enemy. And when we know that we are already victorious, we can rest in Christ while the enemy runs himself ragged trying to win a fight that he has not won and will not win.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)

Remain in Christ Jesus, trust in Him, rest and see the salvation of the Lord. Don’t try to win it in your own ability and strength because it doesn’t work that way. He has won it all for us and we can experience victory over satan- all the time!
