Fight! Fight! Fight!

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses. I Timothy 6:12 (Amplified Bible, AMP)

We are the midst of times where we must fight against evil with everything that is in us. We cannot afford to sit idly by and allow others to determine our future.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Ephesians 6:12 (Amplified Bible, AMP)

Our fight is not against flesh & blood people, but against the demonic entities influencing people doing wicked things. Therefore, we do no conduct our warfare with amunition, guns, and other physical weapons, We conduct our warfare spiritually. And it is a three-pronged attack. We fight with the Name, the Blood, and the Word.

The Name

Jesus gave us His name to use. By use of His name, we have the same authority He did when He walked the earth. In His name, we can command that the demons leave and we can decree that they are void of power. His Name is above every name, so the enemy cannot stand against the name of Jesus. Speak the enemy and command the enemy to be removed from any place of power.

The Blood

The blood of Jesus has life-giving properties. It also protects and delivers. We can speak the blood against the enemy. We can speak the blood over ourselves and those we hold dear. We can speak the blood over those working for righteousness in our land. The blood of Jesus is our shield of protection and the source of life to our cause. The devil hates the blood because he cannot overcome it. It is impenetrable.

The Word

The Word of God is our weapon for offensive battle. We go on attack against the enemy wielding the Sword of the Spirit, the Word. We can cut him and his plans to shreds when we speak the Word against him. We can speak it to enforce the victory Jesus already won on our behalf. The devil is already defeated- he just doesn’t want to admit it. The word is our weapon for enforcement of that victory. We can tell him that we are the head and nt the tail. We can tell him that he must restore to us seven-fold what he has stolen. We can tell him that we are more than conquerors. we can remind him that Jesus made an open spectacle of Him when He defeated him in hell. The Word is full of statements that reinforce our win and the devil’s loss.

Now more than ever before, we must use these three means to fight the enemy. Righteous and justice will prevail in the earth if we fight, fight, fight!
