What God Is Saying About Us

What God Is Saying About Us

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. Psalm 40:5 (NKJV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. II Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

God is always thinking of us and they are good thoughts. He is blessing us, not cursing us. The Lord showed me just a few of His thoughts towards us. Let’s consider some of the things that the Lord is saying about us, His children. And let’s turn them into faith statements we can make over ourselves to agree with the Lord.

  • We’re too blessed to be cursed.

  • We have too much victory to be defeated.

  • We’re too wise to be fools.

  • We’re too strong to be weak.

  • We’re too peaceful to be stressed.

  • We’re too giving to go without.

  • We’re too discerning to be deceived.

  • We’re too powerful to be overcome.

  • We’re too gracious to be unkind.

  • We’re too full of His love not to love.

  • We’re too knowledgeable to be destroyed by lack of knowledge.

  • We’re too studied in the Word not to know the truth.

  • We’re too sensitive not to feel what God feels.

  • We’re too close to God to be godless.

  • We’re too enlightened not to understand His Word.

  • We’re too humble not to be exalted by God.

  • We’re too grateful to take things for granted.

  • We’re too Spirit-filled to not be spiritual.

  • We’re too full of the Word not to see results.

  • We’re too prayerful to not hear God.

  • We’re too caring not to reach out.

  • We’re too full of vision not to see God’s plans for us.

  • We’re too full of the Spirit not to overflow onto others.

  • We’re too called to not do something for God.

Ponder these statements- they are truths from God about you. Be who God made you to be. Do what God called you to do. With God you can do more as He gives you vision, and you can do more as you believe what He says about you. What similar statements is God speaking to you?
