Supernatural Age Reversal

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 91:16 (KJV)

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:5 (KJV)

As we live, we naturally get older. However, I believe that God wants us to get better, not worse, as we age. I believe God wants us to have a life of quantity (length) as well as quality. He wants us to live long and strong. His plan for us is a long, happy, healthy life. Throughout Scripture, we see people who lived long lives with good health. Moses and Caleb are two examples, and in the New Testament, we see that the Apostle John lived a long, productive life.

Psalm 91:6 tells us we can have a long life and a quality life. The way to get it is found in Psalm 91:1.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 (KJV)

This speaks of living in the presence of God- like Moses did. As we live in God’s presence daily by spending time with Him in prayer, the Word, praise and worship, we receive the God life. By being in tune with God all day long and receiving fresh fillings of His Spirit, the Spirit of Life, we gain and maintain a long, healthy life. Life is in the blood, and as we apply the blood of Jesus to our lives, we partake of divine life. And the Word is life, so a life spent in the Word is a healthy one.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 (KJV)

As we claim Romans 8:11, the same Spirit that raised Jesus and brought Him back from the dead will give that same life to us. And the law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2) begins to affect us spirit, soul, and body so that we are preserved blameless until the rapture (I Thessalonians 5:23).

As we spend time in God’s presence, waiting on Him and listening to Him, we receive His Word. As we speak it back to Him, then He speaks it back to us again. He decrees His words of life over us. Psalm 103:5 says He satisfies our mouths with good things. The Hebrew word for things is actually better translated words. He fills our mouths with good words so our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The eagle is strong, overcoming, and soaring. According to the Bible, God can and will turn back time for us by renewing our youth like the eagle’s.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:3-4 (KJV)

God’s power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, and we are partakers of God’s divine nature, which is life, light, and love. Wow, we are so filled with God, His life, and His Word that He brings us renewed youth in Him. We can literally experience a life of supernatural age reversal!
