Fresh Daily- Part 1

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians 5:18 (KJV)

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 (KJV)

According to the Word, we need a fresh Word, a fresh filling, and a fresh touch from God every day. Today, we’re going to discuss our need for a fresh Word daily.

We deal with life daily, so we have to hear from God daily. The best and surest way to hear God, to receive a Word from Him is by the Bible. The Bible is the written Word of God- we can know and hear God in the pages of Scripture.

We cannot live on yeasterday’s manna- it was for yesterday. However, a Word from God will strengthen us, enlighten us, renew our minds, give life to our hopes, dreams, and vision, and give us peace. A Word from God gives us wisdom about how to live life each and every day to overcome the enemy.

We are spirit, soul, and body. We need to feed our spirit God’s Word to grow and be strong. Your soul needs the Word in order to be renewed in the mind so you think like God. Your body needs needs the Word for healing and strength to run your race and to finish it.

All of us need a fresh Word from God daily. By the Word, we receive what we need from the Lord in every part of our lives.
