A Message From The Heart

A Message From The Heart

When I was a kid, people used to say that there were certain things you didn’t discuss in public, two of them being politics and religion. Today, I am breaking that rule and talking about both of them. I think the times we are living in demand that we address certain hot button topics without reservation.

We are in the midst of the most unique time in the history of our country. For those with spiritual discernment, you know that there is more going on than meets the eye. While we see an administration supposedly in control and doing everything they can to destroy our nation, we also can sense and understand that God has things going on behind the scenes that are bringing about the exact opposite. And if you have been following any of the truly prophetic voices speaking for God, you know that something is very definitely up, and we should be encouraged.

One thing we do know for certain is that faith does NOT go by what it SEES. Faith goes by what God SAYS. And God has been saying over and over again that He is not done with the United States. God has been saying that a great awakening of massive proportions will sweep the earth into the most amazing revival the world has seen. The Bible speaks of a last days outpouring of God’s Spirit and a huge harvest of souls. No wonder the kingdom of darkness has been working overtime for many many decades to prevent this from happening!

In this time, we cannot shrink back and be fearful. The body of Chist must arise and be bold. Religion and politics must be merged together like they were in the Revolutionary War. If you are unaware of the role that religion played in our fight for independence, you can start by looking up the Black Robe Regiment on the internet. Today, too many Christians, even pastors, have backed away from speaking the truth about current political events for fear of persecution. Well, to be honest, you’ll likely be persecuted anyway for lesser things- how you dress or where you live or the job you have, etc. So, when we have such an urgent need to bring injustice and unrighteousness to the light, we must do it without concern for persecution.

There is a passion in my heart for this country. I love America. I’m not ashamed to say I get tears in my eyes when I hear Lee Greenwood’s song, God Bless The USA, especially when it says “and I won’t forget the men who died who gave that right to me- and I’ll gladly stand up, next to you, and defend her still today...” God loves this country and my love for God gives me a burning desire to see my nation be everything God called her to be. And so, like the song says, I’m standing up and defending her still today. I’m doing this in the best way I know how- with my written words. And I would encourage you to do what you can to be the voice of God against tyranny, against injustice, against wickedness and evil. Maybe you need to run for local government office. Maybe you need to start bringing up your faith in the workplace and speaking out about God’s desire for righteousness in government. Maybe you need to post bold, godly things on social media without fear of being canceled or censored. Pastors, maybe (no, there’s no maybe about it) you need to address God’s opinion of the wickedness you see in the government and other aspects of society. If you love this country- do something about it!

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 (NKJV)

Brothers and sisters in the Lord, patriots, lovers of freedom- stand for Jesus and stand for justice! This is my heart and it is the heart of God. Do not stand idly by as God calls you to action. We have been born for such a time as this!
