Wonderful Counselor
There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord. Proverbs 21:30 (KJV)
No matter what man may do, their wisdom is no match for God’s wisdom. They may plot and plan, but God will bring their plans to nothing. Any strategy, scheme or plan concocted without God’s involvement will not prosper.
When your back’s against the wall and you don’t know what to do, turn it over to God. When someone comes against you, it is wisdom to give it over to the Lord. People may scheme to try to hurt us, but God will turn their plans back on them. Those who dug a hole for you will fall into it; those who set a trap will be trapped and caught.
He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. Psalm 7:15-16 (KJV)
The best Counselor and Advisor is Jesus. He is the Wonderful Counselor. He will counsel you to do the right thing, to take the right steps, to respond in a godly way. And it always pays off in the long run.
Man may think he has you trapped in a corner, but God knows what to do to deliver you from your enemies. His wisdom will protect us, lead us, instruct us, and make us prosperous. Man’s understanding is limited, but God’s is infinite. There’s no end to it- because there’s no end to God. The Wonderful Counselor is planning your victory when the enemy is planning your ruin. God is utilizing the stumblingblocks the enemy is putting in your path and turning them into stepping stones. You’ll go higher in Him as a result of enemy’s plans.
Let God do for you what you cannot do for yourself. God will have the last word, and you will see your enemies no more. He will vindicate you and pay you back for all who wronged you.
