Can You Envision It?

Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.” Genesis 15:1 (New Living Translation, NLT)

Can you picture a world where lack is a thing of the past, where nations do not go to war, and where perfect health is commonplace? God is a good God, and He is bringing good things to us all. Wicked people have held back good things from the world, but God is taking care of that and the wicked will not control the world systems any longer.

To accomplish this, there will be some fearful events that take place. However, as God’s children, we do not need to be afraid. As we trust in God and maintain a peaceful attitude, we will see God do what we had never thought possible.

Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. Psalm 91: 7-8 (New Living Translation, NLT)

The frightening events that are about to unfold are simply harvests from the wickedness that evil people, controlled by the devil, have sown. The justice of God requires that each seed sown brings a harvest to those who have sown it. That’s how the kingdom of God operates- through seedtime and harvest. God is not mocked- what a man (or woman) sows, they will reap. Judgement is simply the process of sowing and reaping being played out.

So, although there may be some things take place that do not look good, be encouraged and stay at peace. God is protecting His children and allowing judgment to fall on the wicked. Focus your thoughts on the Lord and picture the good things that are coming. Can you envision the season that we are entering into? Ask the Lord to show you what an amazing era is coming to the earth and is nearly here. It will be the most glorious time ever. Stay encouraged and trust God!
