God Can Make Up For Lost Time

God Can Make Up For Lost Time

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. John 6:16-21 (KJV)

The disciples were in a boat, rowing to get to the other side of the sea. They hit a storm, which no doubt slowed their rowing down. They had rowed about three to three and a half miles when Jesus came walking on the sea. He drew near their ship and once He was inside, instantaneously the ship miraculously was at the shore.

Have you been somewhere that you didn’t like or tried to get somewhere and it took longer than you wanted? Maybe you were in a dark place, faced a lot of resistance, and the going was slow. Jesus is fully aware of you and your situation, so invite Him into your boat. He knows how to get you from one place to another. You may have lost time in the storm and been there longer than you wanted to be- but when Jesus gets in your boat, things happen. He will supernaturally translate you out of that place and accelerate things to make up for lost time.

The time you have been there is seed you’ve been sowing. Jesus takes that seed and will supernaturally translate you and accelerate your season to bring you to the place He had for you all the time. Cry out to Jesus and invite Him into your circumstances. He can and will make up for the time that you’ve lost.
