Go Through Your Go-Through

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place. Psalm 66:12 (KJV)

We will go through things sometimes where the heat is turned up and we really feel the pressure. We will be in such situations and think we’re going to drown or we’re not going to make it. However, God promised us when we go through trying times; tough times, He will be with us so that we will not be burned and we won’t drown. God is greater than anything we may go through.

The point is, just go through your go-through. The only way to get through is to go through. Don’t worry or fear, because God’s got this. As you go through, trust in Him and He will bring you out. His intention is not for you to stay stuck in that hard place. There is deliverance for you. Just as God brought the three Hebrew children through out of the fiery furnace (Daniel 3), He will do the same for you.

When you have gone through, then God can bring you out and into a wealthy place. After you have persevered in faith through the trial, there will be rest and rewards on the other side. So, don’t focus on where you are now, but look beyond your current situation to where you are going and where you will end up. After all, God knows how to get you there- one step at a time. Don’t get stuck in the thing you are going through, but keep taking steps, because the steps of a good man or woman are directed by the Lord. And those steps lead to victory.
