Live Carefree

Live Carefree

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. I Peter 5:7 (KJV)

If you can fix a problem, then fix it. If not, forget it. Give it to God and let Him take care of it. You were not made to carry care, but instead let God carry you. Cast, or throw your cares, your worries, and anxieties, onto the Lord because He knows what to do.

Learn to live carefree by giving your concerns to God. Then don’t take them back by thinking and talking about them. God has called us to rest, not to stress; to be at peace with a holy ease (Psalm 25:13).

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. I John 5:3 (KJV)

The word grievous means burdensome. God is not unreasonable. He does not ask us to do something we can’t do. Instead, anything He asks of us we can do with His help. So, don’t fret about it- rest in Christ.

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 (KJV)

Trust God. You know you can because He has never let you down and He never will. Breathe out stress and breathe in the presence of God that brings refreshing. Learn to laugh and sing regardless of the circumstances. It will make you feel better and lighter. Cast your burden, or care, upon the Lord and He will sustain you. Bring all the heavy, worrisome weights to Jesus. Rest in the loving arms of Jesus for He really does care for you.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
