Pressure Your Pressure
When the enemy puts pressure on you, he’s coming to steal the Word. His strategy is to tempt you to give up, to give in, to become discouraged and let go of your faith in God and His Word. However, you can turn the tables on him by speaking the Word of God. God’s Word will actually put pressure on him to the point where he cannot take it, and he will flee.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 (KJV)
When you are tempted to sin, and you give in, losing your temper or getting impatient, don’t give up- instead double up on the Word. When storms come and winds blow, and you start to sink instead of walk on water, hold onto the Word and keep your focus on Jesus. Keep taking steps of faith, acting on the Word. If you keep going, you’ll walk in victory.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I John 5:4 (KJV)
Stand on God’s Word, and act on the Word to keep pressure on the enemy, the circumstances, and anything that is against you. Don’t succumb, but overcome! Speaking the Word will lift the pressure and get it where you can put it under your feet. God’s Word can handle any pressure that may come your way. Use the Word of God to pressure your pressure and you will come out on top.
