Winning With Worship

Winning With Worship

When worry attacks me, I remind myself to worship. Worship will keep your mind from worry. In the same way, worrying will keep you from worshipping God. Worship brings breakthrough, while worry blocks it.

In II Chronicles 20, armies of enemies were coming against the Israelites. They were outnumbered and they did not know what to do, so they sought God. The answer they got from God was for them to worship Him. As they obeyed his direction and worshipped Him, the enemy turned on itself and they killed each other!

The Lord told them that the battle did not belong to them, but it belonged to Him. If they would have given in to worry, they would have missed out on the victory from the Lord. When the dust cleared, the enemy was dead, and it took them three whole days to collect all the spoils.

Remember, worry is more than a negative feeling; it is the enemy trying to steal your victory, your trust in God, and your blessing. So, when worry attacks, overcome it by worshipping God. You will see God come to your aid, and give you the victory. When we worship, Jesus makes things work out for us.
